Johanne Saint-Charles

Chair of the Sunbelt 2019 Conference, Johanne Saint-Charles is full professor at the Faculté de communication at University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), director of the Health and Society Institute and director of the WHO/PAHO Collaborating Center on occupational and environmental health. In communication, she has developed an expertise on relationship dynamics in groups and network. Part of her research focuses upon the intertwining of relationships development and shared discourses through the analysis of social and sociosemantic networks. In the field of health and the environment, most of her research is realised within the framework of an ecosystem approach to health.
